Delphi Academy will have a simple float in the Downtown Campbell Bunnies and Bonnets Parade on Saturday, March 26th!
This is the third year we will be marching in the parade to represent our school. Last year we had many students and families come march in the parade with us and we had a great time.

The parade starts at 12:00 noon. We begin by Blue Line Pizza by the railroad tracks and continue down E. Campbell Avenue to Third Street.
We would like Delphi students and parents to meet us in the Blue Line Pizza parking lot by the big tree on E. Campbell Avenue by 11:15 a.m. This is the staging area where all the groups will be lining up so we should be easy to find. If you are really lost, go to the group check-in station in the parking lot of Blue Line Pizza. They will be able to direct you to us.
Everyone will get to wear bunny ears or a bonnet, hold pretty pinwheels or an inflatable guitar or mic and blow bubbles. Some of the older students may do a small dance as we walk down the street.
OUR FLOAT:
This year, our theme is "Rockin' Bunnies". Our float begins with a group of students holding the Delphi banner, followed by Mr. Sid driving his electric Fiat 500 slowly behind them. His car will be transformed into a giant bunny! Music will be playing from the car. Students interested in dancing on the sides will learn a few simple steps that are easy to do while moving forward in the parade. Following the car and dancers will be more students walking.
WHAT TO WEAR:
Girls: pastel colored spring dresses or skirt and top.
Boys: nice pants or jeans and a pastel colored shirt (preferable with no graphic on the front). No sweat pants please.
Parents & Siblings: Follow the same dress code. The past years we have had parents and siblings walk with us in the parade.
WHAT TO BRING:
Nothing, just bring yourself! We have plenty of bunny ears, pinwheels, inflatable mics and guitars, rock star glasses and bubbles to go around for everyone.

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:
Many things are happening in Campbell to celebrate Easter on parade day. Here's what's available to help you plan your day. If you want to find parking, arriving extra early is highly recommended.
9:00 - 11:00 a.m. Campbell Kiwanis Club presents "Eggstravaganza" Easter Egg Hunt on the Campbell Community Center field. https://www.downtowncampbell.com/event/2016/03/36th-annual-campbell-eggstravaganza
10:00 a.m. Check-in time for the Chalk Drawing Contest for ages 5-12 at Frost Cupcakes. There are limited spots open, so be there right at 10:30 a.m. if you want to be in the contest, which starts at 11:00 a.m. All participants will receive a small prize. The top 3 winners will each get a larger prize. If you are participating in the contest, please have one of your parents let us know so we can expect you to join us after 11:30 a.m. or so we can cheer for you if you win!
11:15 a.m. Delphi students get in the parade line by Blue Line Pizza. Look for Ms. Jackie and Ms. Kimi! Mr. Sid and his bunny car may possibly be staged further away with the other vehicles at this point, so look for your friends and familiar faces rather than the float.
12:00 noon The parade begins! They usually try to stage children and school groups towards the front of the parade, so we should be walking fairly early on. The entire parade will probably last until 1:00 pm. Parents who do not walk in the parade with the students should wait for us at Third Street. All students must be picked up immediately after Delphi finishes walking down the street.
